  • Friday 2nd of August - Cloud X Festival is at the Crystal Palace Bowl in Crystal Palace Park, London SE19 2GA London.

  • Whilst most routes to the festival site within the park are on paths with hard surfaces, the festival space itself is a greenfield (grass) site and sits on a gradient which slopes towards the lake and the stage.

    Please note that such terrain can become muddy and uneven in wet weather and this can limit access or make mobility more difficult. The weather can have a big impact on how easy it is to move around the site so please take this into consideration when planning your day.

  • The festival site is located in Crystal Palace Park. The address is Crystal Palace Bowl, Crystal Palace Park, London SE19 2BA.

    The closest stations and bus routes are:

    • Crystal Palace (TfL Overground and National Rail) approximately 0.5 miles from the event site – More information on the National Rail website.

    • Penge West (National Rail) approximately 0.8 miles from the event site – More information on the National Rail website.

    • Gypsy Hill (National Rail) approximately 1.1 miles from the event site – More information on the National Rail website.

    • Buses: 3, 122, 157, 202, 227, 322, 358, 363, 410, 417, N2, N63, N137, 249, 432, 450, N3.

  • There are no cloakroom facilities. There are no cloakroom facilities & staff are not permitted to store, hold or look after items.

  • A Personal Assistance ticket is made available to customers requiring assistance in order to attend the event. If you require a PA ticket please purchase your own ticket first and then apply for your PA ticket by filling out the access request form.

    Proof of eligibility is required to provide you with your PA ticket. The event organisers will adopt the Attitude Is Everything policy for proof of eligibility. The following forms of copied evidence make an individual ‘automatically eligible’:

    • Front page of DLA / PIP letter

    • Front page of Attendance Allowance letter

    • Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind)

    • Recognised Assistance Dog ID card

    • Credibility’s Access Card showing you require a +1/+2 to accompany you.

  • A Blue Badge car park will operate at the event. Spaces within the blue badge car park are limited, must be pre-booked, and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To apply, please complete our access request form.

    The Blue Badge car park is situated approximately 300 metres from the Accessible entrance along a flat hard surfaced path.

  • The General Admission entrance has a dedicated Access Lane 1.2m wide or greater.

  • A viewing platform is available at the Main Arena. For access to this, please fill out our access request form. This is subject to availability, our access team will let you know if your request has been approved or not.

    Please note that the viewing platform is uncovered, so please prepare for all weather conditions.

    Accessible toilets and mobility equipment charging point will be available at the viewing platform.

  • Power points are available at the Welfare Tent and at the Accessible Viewing Platform.

  • Accessible toilets are located at the Viewing Platform and at the Welfare Area.

  • Lowered counters will be available at each main event bar. Please note that some of our sponsored bars may not be able to provide lowered counters so where possible they will offer an alternative serving policy. Please ask our staff for help.

  • Food cannot be brought into the festival. If you have specific dietary requirements please let our site management team know by emailing access@southfacingfestival.com and they will provide you with an exemption letter so you are able to bring food onto site, enough for your own consumption only.

  • If you need to store medicine, you can store it in the fridge in the Treatment centre, please go to the Welfare Tent where someone will be able to assist you.

  • Cloud X Festival is standing only. There is some seating across the site however this is limited and is within picnic areas only. Personal chairs and stools are not permitted. If seating is compulsory to your enjoyment of the event due to medical circumstances, you may apply for access to our viewing platforms via the access request form. Please note that seating is limited on the accessible viewing platforms and will be granted on a first come first served basis and is subject to availability.

  • Due to the nature of the event, there will be flashing lights and strobe effects on the main stage. Lasers may be used for some performances.

  • This is a space that people can use when they need to get away from the crowd for a while. It is located in the Welfare Tent.

  • Hearing loops will be available at the Box Office and the Welfare Tent.

    For BSL requirements, please email our access team at access@southfacingfestival.com at least 6 weeks prior to the event.

  • We welcome assistance dogs to the event, as long as they have been specifically trained to assist you, only use the toilet in a designated spending area and behave in a way that is appropriate around other customers. If you are planning to bring your assistance dog, we ask that you let our access team know by contacting them via access@southfacingfestival.com.

  • We understand that a hidden disability is not immediately apparent. If you would like support or advice once inside the event, our Access Manager will be the main point of contact and is based at the Welfare tent.

  • The closest train stations are Crystal Palace (TfL Overground and National Rail), Penge West (TfL Overground and National Rail) and Gipsy Hill (National Rail).

  • For the safety of the event and attendees, unattended items such as bags, chairs, umbrellas etc, will be promptly removed & disposed of.

    The following are considered dangerous and are not permitted. Our security team reserve the right to confiscate prohibited items, including:

    ● Drones

    ● Glass in any form (including perfume bottles)

    ● Cans or metal containers

    ● Spray cans, gas canisters or compressed gas in any container

    ● Containers of glitter

    ● Fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, Chinese lanterns

    ● Camping stoves or cooking apparatus, explosives

    ● Handheld communication devices such as radios, radio jammers/scanners

    ● Firearms, knives or blades, replica weapons of any sort

    ● Umbrellas

    ● Balloons

    ● Stools/camping sticks/chairs or other furniture

    ● Gazebos or parasols

    ● Sports equipment

    ● Flags and banners

    ● Megaphones, amplification equipment

    ● Klaxons, air horns or other similar items capable of making loud noise

  • Yes, you can bring your plastic or metal water bottle to Cloud X Festival and use our free water points.

    Please note that your bottle must be empty on arrival.

  • There is no parking available, please use alternative transport

  • There is no re-entry to the site once you have entered the event. Please make sure you have everything you need with you. If you need to re-enter the event for exceptional circumstances please ask a member of our security or event management team.

  • There are no specific seated areas, although ticket holders may bring a picnic-style blanket if they’d like to sit on the grass.

    Unfortunately, we can’t allow chairs to be brought into the venue.

  • Sorry, pets are not allowed.

  • No umbrellas are permitted in the venue, so in case of rain please bring clothing appropriate for wet weather. We are an outdoor venue so at liberty of the elements!

  • To make your entry to the site as seamless as possible, we recommend that you don’t bring a bag. However, you can bring a bag up to 45cm x 36cm x 20cm in size if necessary. No suitcases or large bags will be permitted. There are no cloakroom or locker facilities on site.

  • No outside food or drink is allowed into the festival venue during a live event day, but we have a stellar line-up of some of the UK’s finest street-food vendors you can buy food from. There will be bars onsite selling a wide range of alcoholic drinks including wines, spirits, cider, craft ales and lager, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Please note that a Challenge 25 policy is in operation at all bars on site.

  • Box Office

    If you are collecting tickets or have any ticketing queries, please visit our on-site Box Office, which is open from 11am to 9pm.

    Toilets

    Toilets, including accessible toilets, are located throughout the site and clearly signposted.

    Welfare and First Aid

    There is Welfare and First Aid provision on site. Services are open during event hours and all visits are logged and recorded. If you need to store medicine, you can store it in the fridge at the Welfare Tent.

    Lost property

    Lost Property is also handled at the Welfare Tent. Please head there and speak to our Lost Property Manager if you have lost or found an item.

    Free drinking water

    There are free drinking water points available throughout the event. We encourage you to bring your own reuseable water bottle to refill at these points.

    Recycling bins

    In an effort to reduce the use of plastic at our event, there is a ban on the sale of all single-use plastic bottles on site. You can find recycling bins, alongside general waste bins, placed at regular intervals in The Bowl.

    Cash points

    There are no cash points available on site. South Facing is a cashless event and accepts card payments only.

  • We are working closely with the Met Police to make South Facing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. In order to have a drug- and crime-free event. Please expect to be searched as you enter the site.
